Continuing with part III in my series of interesting videos about Japan (parts I & II) I bring you a beautiful time-lapse journey through the country by Brad Kremer covering Tokyo, Matsuyama, Imabari, Nagano, Gifu, and Ishizushisan:
If you weren’t interested in visiting Japan before watching this I bet you are now! It was shot using a Canon 5D MKII – pretty amazing what you can do with a DSLR these days but clearly requires a lot of skill to get results like this. The same camera is making headway in use on tv shows and even in cinematic movies.
Brad has also made another great video about the Saijo Matsuri festival which celebrates the fall harvest:
In the past 4 years, I’ve made numerous plans to visit Japan but somehow they’ve always been thwarted and I’ve ended up in either China or Korea. This yeah I hope my luck has changed and I finally manage to make it over there for a week or two at least!
