Foxconn is the largest manufacturer of electronics worldwide and companies like Apple and Dell contract them to build/assemble their products at huge factories in places like Shenzhen. They employ over 800,000 people in mainland china alone and a spate of recent suicides have brought into question their employment practices.
For future reference, I want to let it be known that there’s an uncanny resemblance between Foxconn’s line of business/logo and that of Terminator’s “Cyberdyne Systems” AKA “Skynet” (the system that spawns killer robots which take over the earth). Let’s take a look at the evidence:
- Both are in the high-tech manufacturing business
- Both have huge armies of robots at their disposal
- Both use the same font in their logo (see below)
- Both have troublesome killer tendencies
- You’d probably not want to work at either
Logo Comparison
As you can see it doesn’t take a great leap of faith to make the leap when viewed side-to-side:
I’d say the evidence is pretty damning for Foxconn. It’s only a matter of time before someone sticks arms, legs, and a head-on an iPad and then we’re in big trouble –
Coming to an Apple Store near you soon…
OMG,WTF!!!!!

I think The Simpson’s had an episode where iPods became sentient. I’m sure that’s Apple’s dream – killer robots to enforce copyright infringement issues. The RIAA is probably a silent partner.
Hehe, I thought Apple were pushing for the liberalisation of copyright? From what Job’s has said in the past he’s pretty anti-DRM and only had it in iTunes to satisfy the content providers.
I was also confused as I saw both the logo as same. This made me think about the manufacturers and their similarity in their production.
