Having completed the 1,400km Shikoku Pilgrimage (四国遍路) earlier this year, writing a daily journal while on the trail, I have now collated 100 of my favourite images into a book which hopefully captures some of the essence of what makes Shikoku so special.
It’s taken a little longer than anticipated to complete, but I’m very excited to announce that おへんろ – A Shikoku Pilgrimage is now available to order from its new dedicated home – henro.co. The 92-page book is printed by Blurb on premium quality photo paper (25×20 cm) and I’m very happy with the end result.
Flipping through the pages, the whole adventure feels like a bit of a dream even though it only ended a few months ago. I hope that my writings and this book might inspire others to visit this magical island and possibly undertake a pilgrimage of your own.
This is my first foray into self-publishing and if you’ve enjoyed my blog over the years I’d sincerely appreciate your support. I look forward to hearing what you think about it!
Note: if shipping is not available to your country, please contact me and I can make separate arrangements.
