Taikoo Dockyard from the air

On the top left, there’s a complex with 8 buildings. When I was born, my family was living at the top floor of the corner unit closest to the harbour in the building nearest to the dockyard. My father, taken over from my grandfather after his passing, was a Taikoo painting contractor. We lived in one unit and the unit right opposite were occupied by workers, who slept in bunk beds stacked 3 in a column as the ceiling was high.
