Tokyo – Finally

It had turned into a bit of a running joke that every time I planned to visit Japan in the past few years I have somehow been diverted to China or Korea – but no longer – after many false starts I’ve finally booked a return flight to Tokyo for 1 week at the end of the month (Sept 29 – Oct 6)!

I’m planning to spend 4 or 5 days in Tokyo and the remaining time in Kyoto / Osaka. One week isn’t a very long time but hopefully enough for a good taster – considering how expensive everything appears to be in Japan it’s about as much as I could afford!

Any tips for good places to visit or budget advice would be much appreciated and if you’re the same vicinity feel free to drop me a line 🙂
